The geopolitical events of 2011 seem to indicate prewritten history found in the Bible could well be fulfilled in 2012

The geopolitical events of 2011 like the United States military pullout from Iraq, Iran's continued development of a nuclear weapon of mass destruction, the Afghan War, and the continuation of the Arab Spring have a connection to the prewritten history that can be found in Bible prophecy.  However, the most significant indicator that we are entering the times of the end is what has unfolded in the Middle East in 2011 and what 2012 seems to hold for our world.  This is dramatic evidence of the soon fulfillment of all of Bible prophecy that can be found in God's Word.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Even though the prophetic evidence from God's word seems to say that the return to earth by Jesus Christ is very close at hand, there are still those who deny that Jesus will come back very soon.

The Bible teaches that no one can know for sure when the prophetic scenario found in God's word will be fulfilled and Jesus will return to the earth to set up His kingdom.  However, Jesus in His Olivet Discourse found in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 reveals that He gave to His disciples just before His death, a number of significant indicators to look for which would signal the Lord's return to the earth.  A short list of these events during 2011 as they relate to Bible prophecy can help us to truly recognize the time in which we are living.

The Arab Spring, as foretold in Daniel 11:40-45, the US troop pullout from war torn Iraq (Revelation 18), plus the continuing threat from Iran of the development of a nuclear weapon of mass destruction (Ezekiel 38:5) all point to the fact that we are living in the last days.  However, if an honest observer of current events unfolding in the Middle East will compare these present activities to the end times scenario found in God's word, they will understand how close we are to the Lord's return in 2012.

The evidence can be seen as we watch Iran and its partners, the Moslem nations, aligning themselves against Israel which was foretold in Ezekiel 38.  In Ezekiel 35 and the little book of Obadiah we can see foretold that the Palestinians will take the land from the Jewish people and kill the Jews and there will be the ever increasing desire among the Jewish people to see a temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.  This was foretold in Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, and Revelation 11:1.

Everything that I've talked about on this report is absolute evidence to indicate that all of Bible prophecy is about to be fulfilled

Praying for 2012: A Significant Year A Letter for the New Year from Franklin Graham

We are beginning a new year, and I believe we are facing what could be one of the most significant years in our nation’s history. While we prepare to choose our political leaders in the upcoming elections, our country is in a mess—morally, economically, and spiritually. People are anxious about the future, and many have lost any hope in the political process.

During election season we hear a lot about effecting change, but the only change that will help our nation is a true change of the human heart. The Bible says that “the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick” (Jeremiah 17:9, ESV) and there is no cure except for men and women to repent of their sin, ask God’s forgiveness, and accept His salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ.

I hear of people praying for revival and that our nation will turn around. We need God’s help. That is the only answer for our country and for our sin-sick world.

We need your prayers as we respond to many opportunities God has given us to proclaim the transforming power of the Gospel throughout 2012.

Throughout 2012, I’m sure you will hear plenty of promises from politicians that they either can’t keep or have no intention of keeping. But let me make this promise to you: I will use every opportunity we are given to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a dying world in desperate need of hope. We will boldly proclaim the Savior in the face of the secularists, the atheists, and every other person, thing, or creed that opposes the Name of Jesus Christ.

I can’t think of any better investment you could make in the coming year than to partner in the work of the life-changing Gospel.

The Apostle Paul said, “One thing I do: … I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:13–14). That’s our prayer for 2012, to single-mindedly press toward the goal of seeing as many people as possible come to saving faith in Jesus Christ. There’s nothing more valuable than a soul.

Thank you for all you do, and may God richly bless you and your family in the new year.

Sincerely,

Franklin Graham Signature

The world watched as a 4000 year old conflict unfolded at the United Nations in New York City

For over 6 months a centuries old conflict was in the process of coming to a new phase with efforts to bring about some kind of resolution for the two parties involved, the Jewish state of Israel and the Palestinian people, who want to have a state basically in the place where the Jews are now living. The Palestinian Authority campaigned among the nations of the world to win favor for the unilateral declaration of a Palestinian state with at least some portion of Jerusalem as the capital city for the state of Palestine.

One major problem for the Palestinians has been the division among the Palestinian people with the Palestinian terror organization Hamas refusing to join with the Palestinian Authority and wanting to continue the armed militant struggle against Israel in order to rid the Middle East of a Jewish state.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The recent effort at the United Nations in New York City by the Palestinian Authority to declare unilaterally a Palestinian state is basically a page right out of Bible prophecy.

For many months the leadership of the Palestinian Authority worked among world leaders to prepare the way for a resolution to be passed at the United Nations General Assembly calling for a Palestinian state. World leaders were divided as to how to vote on the United Nations resolution because many believe the only way for the Israeli - Palestinian conflict to be resolved is at the negotiating table. World leaders continue to work at resolving this conflict. Meanwhile, the world watched the center stage where the two parties, the Jews and the Palestinians, diplomatically slugged it out and thus far have come to no final solution.

This 4000 year old conflict will not be resolved until Jesus Christ returns to the earth to set up His kingdom (Obadiah 16-18). Another ancient Jewish prophet, Malachi, predicted that the Palestinians, in Biblical times known as the Edomites, descendants of Esau, these Palestinians would say that they would return to power and build a nation (Malachi 1:4). The Lord responded to that and He said that the borders of the Palestinians would be borders of wickedness and the He, the Lord, would have indignation against the Palestinian people forever. Actually, the activities at the United Nations in New York was setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

In Bethlehem, Christians celebrate Christmas while in Jerusalem, Jews celebrate Hanukkah and there is an interesting connection between the two

The annual Jewish holy days of Hanukkah, an eight day Jewish festival, is being observed this year at the same time as Christians will celebrate Christmas, the day that marks the birth of Jesus Christ over 2000 years ago.  Jewish families will join together to light a candle for each of the eight days of Hanukkah that reminds them of the miracle of Hanukkah, the fact that the seven branched candelabra, the Menorah, stayed lighted for eight days with only enough olive oil for the Menorah to burn for one day.

Meanwhile, Christians will celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ on December 25, Christmas Day, as many naysayers disagree with that date but the record of the birth of Jesus Christ in the Bible does agree with that time on the calendar for the birth of the Son of God.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Jews celebrating Hanukkah as Christians mark the birth of Christ on December 25 has an interesting historic significance as well as a prophetic factor that will be better understood in the future according to Bible prophecy.

The Jewish holy days of Hanukkah date back to December 25 168BC when Antiochus Epiphanes, the Grecian leader at that time, brought his military forces into Jerusalem desecrated the Jewish temple and brought an end to temple worship and practices for a three year period.  On December 25 165BC, the Maccabees, a militant priestly family living near Jerusalem, rose up against Antiochus Epiphanes and his Grecian army and ran them off of the Temple Mount and out of Jerusalem.  After cleaning up the temple they used a flask of virgin olive oil to light the Menorah, it was enough fuel for one day but the Menorah kept burning for eight days thus the Jewish holy day of Hanukkah.  Church leaders by the way in the fourth century proclaimed the 25th of December as the day to observe Christmas Day, the day of the birth of Jesus Christ.  In fact, Luke 1:5-38 does indeed set the month of the birth of Christ as December.  The 25th day of December is tradition.  Hanukkah is actually a reminder that there will be another abomination of desolation.  This next abomination happens when the Antichrist walks into the future temple in Jerusalem and claims to be God (II Thessalonians 2:4).

Hanukkah and Christmas remind us that Bible prophecy has been fulfilled and will indeed be fulfilled in the future.

Israeli officials say that North Korea is still a danger to the Jewish state even with the death of it leader

A spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry of Israel says that North Korea's leader Kim Jong-il's death still leaves the North Korean state a danger for Israel especially since Kim Jong-il's regime produced nuclear technology and military arms for Israel's enemies.  North Korea has helped arm Syria, Libya, and Egypt with missiles and technology and has been closely involved with the Iranian nuclear program in the development of a nuclear weapon of mass destruction.

It was North Korean nuclear technology that helped Syria build a nuclear weapons factory that was totally destroyed by the Israeli Air Force several years ago causing Israel to be very concerned about the future of North Korea.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A change in leadership in North Korea is not good news for Israel in light of past experiences with this Asian nation especially in light of what Bible prophecy calls for in the last days.

The death of North Korea's leader Kim Jong-il does not change the philosophy of this nation that has become a real threat to the world because of its nuclear arsenal.  In addition, North Korea has supplied nuclear technology and military arms to a number of Middle Eastern nations that have a stated purpose of annihilating the Jewish state of Israel.  At the time of Kim Jong-il's death there were hundreds of North Korean nuclear scientists in Iran helping that nation to build its nuclear weapon of mass destruction.

Bible prophecy lays out a scenario that will include North Korea and its partners in preparing their militaries for destruction of Israel.  Revelation 16:12 reveals the invasion of Israel by the kings of the east. Now that would include China, India, and North Korea.  This invasion takes place when all the armies of the world will gather at Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:2).  Prior to this military buildup in Jerusalem, North Korea has played and will continue to play a key role in equipping the nations including the nations mentioned by the ancient Jewish prophets who will move against Israel in the near future - nations like Libya, Syria, and Egypt (Daniel 11:40-43).

New leadership in North Korea will only enhance the possibility of Bible prophecy being fulfilled in the very near future.

The US flag ceremony ends war in Iraq

The flags of American forces in Iraq have been taken down in Baghdad and the formal end of the Iraqi war concluded nearly nine years of military operation by the US in this Middle Eastern nation that sparked political controversy in not only the US but in Europe and throughout the entire Middle East.

The prospects for stability in this war torn country are not good with a number of different elements in the body politic of Iraq who are competing to set in place their own agenda to rule this historic land which has a significant future yet to be fulfilled.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A flag ceremony by the US forces in Iraq marking the end of war was also the beginning of the end for Iraq according to Bible prophecy.

The US Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta, addressed a crowd of military personnel and politicos in Baghdad, Iraq as the US flag ceremony marked the end of almost nine years of war in a Middle East nation that has been too familiar with bloodshed down through the centuries. The rebuilding of this war torn nation has an uphill battle that will be hampered by Islamic radicals who want to take control of this oil rich nation to help forward their own agenda. This fight for control of Iraq will be played out on a stage that has been the base for many events in biblical history.

Forty-five hundred years ago, Nimrod built the only city of the world at that time in history, the city of Babel. Twenty-five hundred years ago, Nebuchadnezzar came to power as the ruler of the Babylonian Empire. This history only helps us to have a better understanding of the future of this unique piece of real estate in the Middle East. Revelation 18 foretells of the revival of the city of Babylon which will be the economic capital of the world under the leadership of a world dictator known as the Antichrist. The city of Babylon, 58 miles out of downtown Baghdad, has never been destroyed as called for in Isaiah 13-14, Jeremiah 50-51, and Revelation 16. In the last 3 1/2 years of the 7 year Tribulation Period, all the economies of the world will answer to Babylon, modern day Iraq.

US troops withdrawing from Iraq without a stable Iraqi government in place does indeed set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Christians, Jews banned from Temple Mount in Jerusalem 'It seems freedom of religion in Israel is only for Muslims' Christians, Jews banned from Temple Mount in Jerusalem

Temple Mount in Jerusalem

JERUSALEM – The Israeli government is currently banning all non-Muslims from ascending the Temple Mount, considered the holiest site in Judaism.
"It seems freedom of religion in Israel is only for Muslims and not for Christians and Jews," Danny Danon, deputy speaker of the Knesset, told WND, referring to the new restrictions.
Jerusalem Police spokesman Shmulik Ben Ruby confirmed to WND that Jews and Christians are restricted from entering the Temple Mount due to safety concerns over the main access gate for non-Muslims, known as the Mughrabi Bridge.
Yesterday, Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat officially ordered the bridge to be indefinitely closed due to petitions from the city's Antiquities Authority citing fears the weakened wooden structure may collapse or catch fire.
Fasten your seat belt as Aaron Klein reveals today's unprecedented threat to the very existence of Israel.
There are 15 gates leading into the Temple Mount compound, 10 of which are in use, but for Muslims only.
The Mughrabi Gate, located at the Western Wall plaza, is the only access for non-Muslims to enter the site, meaning its closure now prevents Jews, Christians and any tourists from visiting until a replacement structure is built.
Ben Ruby said there are no immediate plans for any of the 10 entrances to the Mount to be opened for non-Muslims, citing security concerns.
A replacement bridge could take several months to build. Arab countries are already warning any construction in the sensitive area could lead to violence, claiming the Jewish state is using the bridge renovation to threaten the al-Aqsa Mosque, located on the mount.
"This is a serious step that shows the Zionist scheme of aggression again the Al Aqsa mosque," Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhum told Agence France-Presse.
(Story continues below)

Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin said the Israeli government received warning messages over the bridge reconstruction from the Egyptian and Jordanian governments.
"The Muslim Brotherhood is exerting pressure on them," he said of Egypt.
Jordan's foreign minister, Nasser Judeh, similarly weighed in, telling the Arabic-language Al-Rai network, "Jordan rejects any Israeli attempt to influence the holy sites in Jerusalem and the character and heritage of the city."
The Mughrabi Bridge is in serious need of repair. It was scheduled to be demolished and replaced with a sturdier structure, but Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu instructed the Jerusalem municipality two weeks ago to postpone the demolition due to the sensitivity of the issue and warnings from Egypt and Jordan.
Danon, from Netanyahu's ruling Likud party, told WND he spoke with the prime minister yesterday about finding a solution to accommodate Jewish and Christian visits.
"I believe we will see in the near future non-Muslims will be allowed to go back on the Temple Mount," he said.
Meanwhile, nationalist politicians and Temple Mount activist groups here are strongly protesting the new restrictions.
Knesset Member Uri Ariel said, "The closing of the Mughrabi Bridge cannot be an excuse for why Jews going to the Temple Mount will be delayed for even one minute.
"However, there is a vital need to build a replacement bridge," he added.
Yehuda Glick, chairman of the Temple Mount Heritage Foundation, told WND of the new restrictions: "The Israeli government doesn't know how to assert its own independence. When it comes to the Temple Mount, they are afraid of their own shadow."
Rabbi Chaim Richman, the international director of the Temple Institute, told WND, "This is another indication of the political, moral and spiritual bankruptcy of the Israeli government. The issue is not simply a bridge. It's about what direction we are going in as a people. Do we care about our heritage?"
Richman also blasted the international news media for "only reporting about the Hamas threats over the bridge. The big story is the barring of the non-Muslims by a Jewish government."
Temple history
The First Temple was built by King Solomon in the 10th century B.C. It was destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 B.C. The Second Temple was rebuilt in 515 B.C. after Jerusalem was freed from Babylonian captivity. That temple was destroyed by the Roman Empire in A.D. 70. Each temple stood for a period of about four centuries.
According to the Talmud, the world was created from the foundation stone of the Temple Mount. It's believed to be the biblical Mount Moriah, the location where Abraham fulfilled God's test to see if he would be willing to sacrifice his son Isaac.
The Temple Mount has remained a focal point for Jewish services for thousands of years. Prayers for a return to Jerusalem and the rebuilding of the Temple have been uttered by Jews since the Second Temple was destroyed, according to Jewish tradition.
The Al-Aqsa Mosque was constructed in about A.D. 709 to serve as a shrine near another shrine, the Dome of the Rock, which was built by an Islamic caliph. Al-Aqsa was meant to mark what Muslims came to believe was the place at which Muhammad, the founder of Islam, ascended to heaven to receive revelations from Allah.
Jerusalem is not mentioned in the Quran. It is mentioned in the Hebrew Bible 656 times.
Islamic tradition states Muhammad took a journey in a single night on a horse from "a sacred mosque" – believed to be in Mecca in southern Saudi Arabia – to "the farthest mosque" and from a rock there ascended to heaven. The farthest mosque became associated with Jerusalem about 120 years ago.
According to research by Israeli author Shmuel Berkovits, Islam historically disregarded Jerusalem as being holy. Berkovits points out in his book "How Dreadful Is This Place!" that Muhammad was said to loathe Jerusalem and what it stood for. He wrote Muhammad made a point of eliminating pagan sites of worship and sanctifying only one place – the Kaaba in Mecca – to signify the unity of God.
As late as the 14th century, Islamic scholar Taqi al-Din Ibn Taymiyya, whose writings influenced the Wahhabi movement in Arabia, ruled that sacred Islamic sites are to be found only in the Arabian Peninsula and that "in Jerusalem, there is not a place one calls sacred, and the same holds true for the tombs of Hebron."
A guide to the Temple Mount by the Supreme Muslim Council in Jerusalem published in 1925 listed the Mount as Jewish and as the site of Solomon's Temple. The Temple Institute acquired a copy of the official 1925 "Guide Book to Al-Haram Al-Sharif," which states on page 4, "Its identity with the site of Solomon's Temple is beyond dispute. This, too, is the spot, according to universal belief, on which 'David built there an altar unto the Lord.'"
No prayer zone
The Temple Mount was opened to the general public until September 2000, when the Palestinians started their Intifada, or "uprising," by throwing stones at Jewish worshipers after then-candidate for prime minister Ariel Sharon visited the area.
Following the onset of violence, the new Sharon government closed the Mount to non-Muslims, using checkpoints to control all pedestrian traffic for fear of further clashes with the Palestinians.
The Temple Mount was reopened to non-Muslims in August 2003. Until the closure this week, the Mount was open to non-Muslims only Sundays through Thursdays, 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., and not on any Christian, Jewish or Muslim holidays or other days considered "sensitive" by the Waqf, the Mount's Islamic custodians.
During "open" days, Jews and Christians are allowed to ascend the Mount, usually through organized tours and only if they conform first to a strict set of guidelines, which includes demands that they not pray or bring any "holy objects" to the site. Visitors are banned from entering any of the mosques without direct Waqf permission. Rules are enforced by Waqf agents, who watch tours closely and alert nearby Israeli police to any breaking of their guidelines.

As world leaders work for peace in the Middle East the current peace agreements are unraveling

World leaders in America, Europe, Russia, and the Middle East are working to bring about a peace in the Middle East even as three peace agreements between Israel and their neighbors are actually unraveling and may not be in effect for very long.

The Camp David Accords, a peace agreement between Israel and Egypt, is almost a thing of the past with the present situation in Egypt as is the case with the peace treaty between Israel and Jordan with most Jordanians wanting to dissolve that treaty.

The Oslo Accords, a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians, has never been normalized and is not a working agreement because the radical Islamists among the Palestinians have no regard for the treaty and in fact are calling for an armed struggle to eliminate the Jewish state.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

With three different peace agreements between Israel and her neighbors in place the Middle East peace process is in bad shape but it will be rescued according to Bible prophecy.

In 1979, Israel and Egypt signed the Camp David Accords, the first peace treaty that Israel ever signed with an enemy state. The Palestinians and the Israelis also came to an agreement on peace in 1993 with the Oslo Accords. In October of 1994, the late King Hussein of Jordan and the late Yitzhak Rabin prime minister of Israel, both signed a peace treaty between the two nations. What is common with all of these peace agreements is that they never have been normalized. Even the peace envoy for the Quartet, which is the US, EU, UN, and Russia, Tony Blair has not been successful in bringing about peace. However, I must remind you that Bible prophecy does call for a world leader to come on the scene who will be successful in putting a peace treaty in place that he will make work.

Daniel 9:27 says that the Antichrist will confirm a treaty between Israel and her neighbors. I did not say he will sign a treaty, but instead confirm, strengthen, make stronger, make the treaty work. In order for this to happen, there must be a peace treaty or three peace treaties on the table not working. The Antichrist will confirm them.

There are three peace treaties on the table not working, waiting for the Antichrist, a world leader, to appear.

Jesus Christ the Sin Bearer

Matthew 26:26-27
The cross is so common in our culture that most people don’t think twice when they see one on a church. But unfortunately, familiarity with the symbol can actually get in the way of understanding what it truly means. So let’s stop to consider how Jesus became the bearer of sin.
We begin with Scripture written long before Jesus was born. Genesis, the first book of the Bible, explains how man chose to disobey God. Because Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, their descendants are all born under the curse of death, having inherited a sinful “flesh” nature.
In Leviticus, God’s laws for the Jewish nation included observance of Yom Kippur, the day each year when the Israelites fasted, prayed, and sacrificed an animal to atone for sin. In essence, the goat would bear the wrongs done by the people and suffer the penalty that divine justice required.
Centuries later, Isaiah prophesied that a Savior would atone for transgression once and for all (Isa. 53:5, 8; Heb. 7:27). After another 700 years, John the Baptist identified Jesus as the Lamb of God who would take away the sin of the world (John 1:29). The Messiah had come, though He was totally different from what the people expected—so much so, in fact, that they rejected Him and requested His crucifixion.
In all, God gave 613 laws through Moses. But none of us can perfectly follow even the Ten Commandments. In fact, one reason He gave us these rules is to show us our need for a Savior (Ps. 19:7; Gal. 3:24). Meditate on those commands (Ex. 20:1-17), asking God to speak to your heart.

Thomas Jefferson

This is amazing. There are two parts. Be sure to read the 2nd part (in RED).
Thomas Jefferson was a very remarkable man who started learning very early in life and never stopped.
At 5, began studying under his cousin's tutor.
At 9, studied Latin, Greek and French.
At 14, studied classical literature and additional languages.
At 16, entered the College of William and Mary.
At 19, studied Law for 5 years starting under George Wythe.
At 23, started his own law practice.
At 25, was elected to the Virginia House of Burgesses.
At 31, wrote the widely circulated "Summary View of the Rights of British America and retired from his law practice.
At 32, was a Delegate to the Second Continental Congress.
At 33, wrote the Declaration of Independence .
At 33, took three years to revise Virginia 's legal code and wrote a Public Education bill and a statute for Religious Freedom.
At 36, was elected the second Governor of Virginia , succeeding Patrick Henry.
At 40, served in Congress for two years.
At 41, was the American minister to France , and negotiated commercial treaties with European nations along with Ben Franklin and John Adams.
At 46, served as the first Secretary of State under George Washington.
At 53, served as Vice President and was elected president of the American Philosophical Society.
At 55, drafted the Kentucky Resolutions, and became the active head of the Democratic- Republican Party.
At 57, was elected the third president of the United States .
At 60, obtained the Louisiana Purchase , doubling the nation's size.
At 61, was elected to a second term as President.
At 65, retired to Monticello .
At 80, helped President Monroe shape the Monroe Doctrine.
At 81, almost single-handedly created the University of Virginia , and served as its first president.
At 83, died on the 50th anniversary of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence, along with John Adams
Thomas Jefferson knew because he himself studied the previous failed attempts at government. He understood actual history, the nature of God, his laws and the nature of man. That happens to be way more than what most understand today. Jefferson really knew his stuff. A voice from the past to lead us in the future:
John F. Kennedy held a dinner in the white House for a group of the brightest minds in the nation at that time. He made this statement: "This is perhaps the assembly of the most intelligence ever to gather at one time in the White House with the exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone."
"When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe ." -- Thomas Jefferson
"The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not."
-- Thomas Jefferson
"It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world."
-- Thomas Jefferson
"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them." -- Thomas Jefferson
"My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government." -- Thomas Jefferson
"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson
"The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."
-- Thomas Jefferson
"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." -- Thomas Jefferson
"To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical."
-- Thomas Jefferson
Thomas Jefferson said in 1802:
"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies.
If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property - until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."

A supercomputer has predicted and will in the future be able to predict upcoming world conflicts and revolutions

According to the research at the University of Illinois feeding a supercomputer with millions of news stories, scientists believe they can predict major world events including regional conflicts and even revolutions like the recent revolutions in Libya and Egypt.

Scientists say they liken this forecasting of conflicts to weather forecasting and the system appears to generate better intelligence than the US government is working with today.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A supercomputer that can predict world conflict before the fact may or may not be totally accurate, but there is a way to know the future, that is by reading the end times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

As scientists feed hundreds of millions of news articles into a supercomputer, they are working on developing a way to foretell the future in the area of world conflict and revolutions. This new research seems to have predicted the uprising in the Arab world, the so-called Arab spring with pretty good accuracy; however, pretty good is not perfect as is the written Word of God and its presentation of the end time scenario for the events of the future.

Daniel, the ancient Jewish prophet, in Daniel 11 predicted the rise of Ahazerias, the king of the book of Esther, 57 years before he appeared, Daniel 11:2. He also revealed information about Alexander the Great 200 years before he came to power and 360 years before the fact, Daniel prewrote history about Antiochus Epiphanes who would desecrate the Temple which did happen December 25, 168 BC. Daniel's prophecy, which is prewritten history about the Antichrist found in Daniel 7:8, 9:27, and 11:36-45 will also be fulfilled based on past prophecies being fulfilled. Daniel also wrote of world conflict 2500 years ago which would include Syria, Egypt, and Libya the major Arab nations now on the radar screen, Daniel 11:40-44.

We must not put our trust in a supercomputer that actually can fail, but instead put our trust in Bible prophecy, Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled.

The Names of Christ

The Names of Christ
Philippians 2:5-11
The Bible ascribes many different names to Jesus, all of which provide great insight into His character and person. Here are some from John’s gospel that I find particularly revealing:
The Good Shepherd (10:11) protects his sheep at all cost from predators. They know His voice and follow Him.
The Door (vv. 7-9) is the only way to enter heaven. Whoever enters through the “gate” of Christ will be saved.
The Vine (15:1-10) is the source of our spiritual life. When we stay intimately connected to Jesus, we bear fruit. If we do not remain in Him, we wither.
The Bread of Life (6:25-35) the only one who can truly satisfy our hearts. Jesus feeds our souls with sustenance that never leaves us wanting for more.
The Light of the World (9:5) shines His light through our countenance as a ministry and testimony to a dark world.
The Way (14:6) to happiness, peace, joy, and eternal life is Jesus Christ.
The Truth (14:6) of His revelation, as recorded in the New Testament, is the reason we can know as much as we do about God.
The Life (14:6) Jesus imparts to believers is powerful, effective, and fruitful, not only in eternity but here on earth as well.
In biblical times, Israelites would choose a baby’s name based on the child’s characteristics or a hope or prayer of the parent. The names given to Jesus tell a great deal about His ministry on earth 2,000 years ago. The scriptural names describing Him reveal who He was and is and will be for eternity.

Palestinian officials deny the Koran in order to declare there was never a Jewish Temple in Jerusalem

For years, the PA leaders have denied Jewish history both in ancient Judea and Samaria and in Jerusalem in particular with historical revisionism centering on the denial that a Jewish Temple ever existed in Jerusalem as they consistently refer to the Temple as the alleged temple.

This Palestinian claim that the temple never existed contradicts the Koran where it mentions in Cirra 17:2-7 the destruction of both the first and second Jewish temples in Jerusalem. The Palestinians accuse Israel of forging a false Jewish history in order to Judaize the Temple Mount so they can destroy al Aqsa Mosque and build a Jewish temple on this holy site.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Palestinian claim that there never was a Jewish temple in Jerusalem is a contradiction of history and archaeological record and it does set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

For years, the propaganda of the Palestinian leadership in Israel has been focused on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and the declaration that there has never been a Jewish temple on this holy site sacred to the Jewish people. Palestinian claims of the Jews forging Jewish history for the Temple Mount are in the face of impeccable Jewish and Christian sources, plus these claims go against the archaeological record documented for this area.

In fact, these claims by the Palestinians of no temple in Jerusalem contradict the statements of Jesus Christ who not only taught on the Temple Mount at the temple, but predicted in Matthew 24:2 that the temple would be destroyed as it was in 70AD by the Roman army. These Palestinian statements about the Temple Mount not being Jewish denies their own holy book, the Koran, but also confirms the prophetic scenario for the last days that can be found in Bible prophecy.

Zechariah, the ancient Jewish prophet, revealed the future when he wrote that Jerusalem will be the center of controversy in the end times, Zechariah 12:2. He also wrote of another Jewish temple that will be built there on the temple Mount in Jerusalem by the Messiah, Jesus Christ, Zechariah 6:12.

Palestinian claims aside, Bible prophecy will indeed be fulfilled.
