The US government says that Jewish settlements are illegitimate

The US government says that Jewish settlers in Judea and Samaria which they refer to as the West Bank are living in settlements that are illegitimate and the settlements must be dismantled and the settlers removed. I asked my broadcast partner longtime journalist in Jerusalem David Dolan, "Is this a major break between the US administration and the Israeli government?"

David Dolan: Well, there is but again there has been. It's a similar situation. Really, no American administration from the time when Lyndon Johnson was president, when Israel captured Judea and Samaria in 1967, no US government has ever recognized Israeli activities there certainly community building, road building, that sort of thing, calling these occupied territories. That is the US official position and it has been. On the other hand, President George W. Bush gave Ariel Sharon a letter promising that the US administration would agree to Israel holding on to major settlement blocks, areas where there is heavy concentrations of Jewish communities.

These the US recognized would remain under Israeli control and in exchange, Israel would give the Palestinians equal amounts of territory somewhere else probably adjacent to Gaza, maybe adjacent to other portions of the West Bank. That was the understanding, that was what the Israelis were promised, so if the Obama administration is going back on that then it's a revoking of an earlier commitment made by the US government to the Israelis. Again, we'll see how concrete that action, those words are translated into by the government here.

As the US government takes on the promises of God to the Jewish people, the stage is being set for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Over the years, the US governments have had conflict with Israel over the issue of Jews living in what the US terms the West Bank and the Jews refer to as Judea and Samaria. Those Jewish settlers say that God gave this piece of real estate, Judea and Samaria to them, Ezekiel 34. They also say that the land is theirs forever, Ezekiel 36. The book of Ezekiel 35 says that the Palestinians also want that land and they will kill the Jews, verse 5 and take the land, verses 10-13.

US denial that the land does belong to the Jews is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

A few days ago, the leader of a small political party in England was arrested after speaking on the steps of Guildhall in Winchester. Paul Weston is chairman of Liberty-GB. To see his picture, you would think he is a lawyer or a doctor or a CPA or even a local pastor. 

However, Paul Weston must be a rabble-rouser, at the least, or an anarchist, at worst, who advocates the overthrow of the British government. Otherwise, why would the authorities arrest him for his public speech? 

He may be a rabble-rouser, but he's not an anarchist. 

The public comments that caused Weston's arrest on "suspicion of racial harassment," were much more incendiary than the toppling of the government or the overthrow of the monarchy. Weston was critical of Islam. 

On top of that, it wasn't even Weston's words which were critical of the world's most protected and coddled religion and to which the authorities objected. They were the words of none other than Great Britain's revered favorite son: Sir Winston Churchill. 

Mr. Weston read a passage from a book by Churchill entitled The River War. A young Churchill wrote the book around 1899 based on his experiences as a British Army officer during the Mahdist War in the Sudan. 

I have long been an admirer of Winston Churchill and have quoted him often on The Hal Lindsey Report. I have also been critical of Mr. Churchill's complicity in the naive drawing of the borders of the nations of the modern Middle East. Despite those criticisms, however, I have always acknowledged that few men in history had a way of grasping a situation and its implications as thoroughly as Winston Churchill. 

That's why it's worth noting when Winston Churchill describes Islam by saying, "The influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world." 

And those are just some of the words that landed Paul Weston in jail. 

I think it's eerily ironic that the two practices you cannot criticize without risking your livelihood, your social standing, or even your life are Islam and homosexuality. But what's even more bizarre is that if you're Muslim and live in a society governed by Sharia law, it's acceptable to not only criticize homosexuality, but execute homosexuals. 

And though the Gay movement doesn't hesitate to publicly crucify - even destroy - anyone who doesn't "approve" of their agenda, they're strangely silent when it comes to criticizing Islam for its beliefs and practices. 

That's part of the problem they're facing over the Beverly Hills Hotel. A company owned by the Sultan of Brunei now owns the famous hotel, home of the even more famous Polo Lounge, long a gathering place of Hollywood's A-list. 

Brunei is a tiny, oil rich country in Southeast Asia. And what the country owns belongs to the Sultan. That's why he's one of the world's richest people. 

That's not the problem, though. His wealth and mind-blowing extravagance (he has 7,000 cars and, probably, his very own parking garage!) alone would make him a really popular guy in Hollywood. But the rub comes when his nation, Brunei, acted in accordance with its Islamic roots and recently instituted laws that include death by stoning for homosexuals and adulterers. 

Now, it's understandable that that news would shake up a lot of folks in Hollywood. If someone stoned all the homosexuals and adulterers there, the place would probably be buried in rocks. Of course, the media is once again focusing on the disapproving celebrities and not on the real story -- these shocking laws are just another example of what happens when Islam rules. 

And, if Paul Weston's story is any indication, it may not be long before Islam rules in Great Britain. It's already secured more than a foothold in other European nations where the Islamic population is growing nine times faster than the non-Islamic population. And, as I shared with you a few weeks ago, Muslims are demanding that they be allowed to live their lives according to Sharia law, not the law of the host nation. 

And some Europeans want to capitulate and allow them to do so. But, be warned, that won't satisfy them. They will demand more and more until, finally, they will demand that the entire nation be governed by Sharia law. 

In Nigeria, in an effort to appease radical Muslim groups, the government allowed the northern part of the nation to be subject to Sharia. But that's not enough to satisfy some Nigerian Muslims. They want the entire nation to submit. 

That desire gave birth to a group loosely called Boko Haram. That westernized name is best translated, "Non-Muslim education is forbidden." However, the formal name of the group includes (in various translations) the words "jihad" or "Holy War." So you get the idea. 

In the last few years, Boko Haram has grown increasingly radical and aggressive. Last month, they raided a girls' school and kidnapped 276 young women. They were whisked away into a forbidding jungle larger than the state of Indiana. 

Boko Haram's leader has announced that he plans to sell the girls as slaves or child brides, for as little as $12 each. In fact, he insists that he's acting in accordance with the teachings and traditions of Islam, and on the direction of Allah. And it's difficult for so-called "moderate" Muslim groups around the world to denounce him because they have to acknowledge that he is, indeed, Koranically-correct. 

What makes this heinous crime even more despicable is that no serious observer believes Boko Haram is bluffing. In February, they raided a Christian boys' school and slaughtered 50 boys. The Muslim jihadists shot some of them in their beds, slit others' throats, hacked them to death, or locked them in their dorms and burned them alive. Simply because they were Christians and being educated as such. 

Some analysts say that Boko Haram has killed more than 10,000 people. 

Almost no media reported when the boys were killed. Hundreds of Christians have been slaughtered and their churches burned while the mainstream media and the American government yawned. In fact, the media and the administration ignored the kidnapping of the girls until a frantic social media campaign, mostly on Twitter, shamed them into action. 

Why? 

Why did former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton refuse to designate Boko Haram as a terrorist group, although now she feigns disgust at their actions? I think it's because President Obama, Hillary Clinton, and a host of other world leaders, past and present, made a strategic choice to get along with Muslim terrorists by giving in to them. Appeasement became the mantra of the day. 

Winston Churchill must be spinning in his grave. 

I know beyond doubt that, if he were alive today (and based on his life's example), he would remind us that if we don't recognize the nature of the enemy and the struggle we're in, we'll lose before we even start to resist. As he warned his fellow Britons almost 75 years ago, we must understand WHO and WHAT we're fighting if we have any hope of winning. 

Even former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld recognizes this mistake. In an interview on CNN, he said: "The Bush administration didn't do a good job.... you can't win a battle of ideas unless you describe the enemy, say who it is, say what's wrong with it, say what we do and why it"s right. We did that in the Cold War and we defeated Communism. We were tongue-tied over this and the Obama administration is much worse, they won't even use the word." 

You probably know some "moderate" Muslims. That's okay. I do, too. They are usually very sweet and courteous. In fact, in The River War, Churchill also wrote that some "individual Moslems may show splendid qualities." But the fact is, "moderate Muslims" are not "good Muslims." To the extent that Muslims are moderate, they are not following the literal Koran and the Hadith. 

Once again, the media is telling the story in a way that actually protects the source of the problem, and that is Islam itself. Somehow in our politically-correct, multicultural society, we've come to confuse "All men are created equal" with the notion that "all ideas are equal." They are not. Some ideas are just bad. And Islam is a bad idea. 

Pope Francis has used his leadership role to change the Roman Catholic church

In his leadership role as Pope of the billion plus Catholic worshipers, Pope Francis now leads this 2,000-year-old church into the future differently than any previous Pope due to the fact that he is a Jesuit. The world continues to watch Pope Francis implement his style of leadership with a mission to expand the outreach of Catholicism and to enlarge the total number of the Catholic worshipers to the worldwide church.

Since the Jesuits are the militant arm of the Catholic church with a desire to see the world convert, only time will tell how successful Pope Francis will be with his mission as leader of the church.

The leadership of Pope Francis will set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Pope Francis, the first Jesuit to ever lead the Catholic church as Pope, brings to his leadership role a desire to convert all the world to Catholicism. The Jesuits, founded in 1540 AD were brought together as a counter reformation movement. They want to turn back the reformation of Luther and Knox and bring all non-Catholics back into the fold. They have an eschatology that believes that all the world will one day be of the Catholic church and then Jesus Christ will come back to rule this worldwide kingdom that they have set up.

True biblical eschatology, which is a study of the end times, states that the false church that will be headquartered in Rome, Italy the seven mountain city will indeed come to power in the first half of the coming Tribulation Period, Revelation 17. This ecclesiastical Babylon will be led by the Antichrist who is referred to as the Beast some eight times in Revelation 17. Revelation 17:16 reveals that the world leaders, the revived Roman Empire, will rise up and destroy the false church and give their power worldwide dominion to the Antichrist, Revelation 17:17 which indicates that the Lord Himself will put into the hearts and minds of these world leaders to accomplish His will. This will then open the opportunity for the Antichrist to rule a worldwide economic Babylon yet in the future.

The Neo-Nazi Movement in Europe is growing and they could become terrorist organizations

German police have moved against Neo-Nazi groups in not only Germany but across Europe as well to stop them from becoming terrorist organizations. Dr. Rob Congdon has a report on this very frightening development.

Dr. Rob Congdon:  They have spearheaded a group that has raided premises in Germany, Switzerland and Netherlands, so yes it's certainly beyond just Germany. There has been concern growing and more and more awareness of these Neo-Nazi groups that may become true terrorists to Europe. It's much more far reaching than the size of the groups that exist today because we have to remember Europe still has a large population of their young people who are unemployed, who are restless, who are getting disillusioned that the EU is going to solve their problems. Those are the very types of people that this far right group appeals to.

So, while today's steps certainly will counter and minimize the effect of these Neo-Nazi groups, the potential is there for them to mobilize larger groups and you're right that's going to directly effect not only the German government but the Jewish people in Europe will start facing the things or fearing the things that happened so long ago, every time that word Nazi comes up it brings back terrible memories. It is a danger, the government has reacted, we just have to see now if they can keep this under control.

The Neo-Nazi groups in Europe are growing and at the point of becoming terrorist organizations which is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Seventy years ago, the Nazi's under the leadership of Adolf Hitler tried to eliminate all Jews from Europe and in fact around the world with the Holocaust. This dastardly activity is resurfacing and could lead to a second Holocaust. That is the scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy for the last days.

The ancient Jewish prophet Zechariah wrote 2500 years ago that there would be a second Holocaust with two out of every three Jews being killed, that would be twice the number of Jews killed during the WWII Holocaust, Zechariah 13:8. The second Holocaust will take place during the seven year Tribulation Period, the Time of Jacob's Trouble, Jeremiah 30:7.

With Neo-Nazis in Europe growing and moving to the point where they will become terrorists, the scenario is set for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The Jewish people were created in the land of Israel and a recent archaeological discovery proves that fact

A recent archaeological discovery in Shiloh, Israel which is in the center part of the state of Israel in the area of Judea and Samaria reveals that Biblical history has been confirmed. A former mayor of Shiloh, Winkie Medad speaks of the significance of this archaeological find.

Winkie Medad: Well, in the political sense we're facing a major onslaught by either politicians, Atheists, or Agnostics who seek to negate anything that the Bible says. Therefore, to confirm in general, the Biblical narrative that when the Bible says someone was here, or an attack was made, or a defense was made, or priests serviced and worshiped at the Temple, or a king ruled, these are elements that are not from the ancient past in a mythological sense, but they actually happened.

For us it is very important because we believe and I think many good thinking people know that the Jewish people were created in the land of Israel, their culture, their religion, their history, and their future is bound up with this land. If we can confirm as much as possible the Biblical narrative it means that people who want to take away our national ethos are simply wrong. The element of uncovering one's past is always connected with realizing one's future. We know that the Arabs are very anxious about this because they have created a parallel universe in an attempt to create or invent for themselves an identity which has nothing to do with the reality.

The Jewish people created in the land of Israel speaks to the history but also the future of the Jewish state according to Bible prophecy.

The Israeli community of Shiloh located in Judea and Samaria dates back 3500 years to the time of the Tabernacle which was in Shiloh and housed the Ark of the Covenant, Joshua 18 and I Samuel 4. Shiloh is today a Jewish settlement which is indeed evidence of the fulfillment of Ezekiel 36 which is the promise of God to give the Jewish people their land in the last days.

This archaeological find of the location of the Tabernacle 3500 years ago gives confirmation to Biblical history, but it also sets the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

As we look at geopolitical events unfolding in our world today there is evidence that this world is ready for something spectacular to happen

In our wold today, we see events happening that seem to be somewhat of a stage setter for something catastrophic or spectacular to happen, something that could happen which would indeed change the entire earth's future.

In the Middle East, Egypt is involved in one crisis after another. The civil war in Syria brings more death to Syrians on a daily basis and the Jewish state of Israel is under a political attack especially from the Palestinians.

If you take a look to the far East, the prospects that China and India with a total of one-third of the earth's population and both of these nations increasing daily in population, wealth, and military preparedness, they both are becoming somewhat of a superpower in our world today.

Geopolitical activities and current events in our world today are setting the stage for what some call a catastrophic event to happen but is in reality only a part of the end of times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

If you are a watcher of geopolitical activities and current events and at the same time familiar with Bible prophecy, you will be able to recognize that our world is on the fast track to the scenario that is found in the pages of Bible prophecy. As a student of Bible prophecy and what I call a news junkie, I do recognize that this world is very close to the last days scenario that is found in the pages of Bible prophecy. The far East is quickly putting in place their economic and military preparedness in order to become nations that would be included in the superpowers of this world.

This was actually foretold by John the Revelator when he wrote about the impact of the Kings of the East in Revelation 16:12. Europe and the EU with all of their economic struggles are working to put in place an economic structure that is described in Bible prophecy, Daniel 7:23-24 and Revelation 18.

In the Middle East with the radicalism prevalent in both Syria and Egypt to the North and to the South of the Jewish state of Israel, one can understand better the pre-written history written by Daniel the prophet in Daniel 11:40-43 and see how this world will indeed see catastrophic, spectacular events in the near future.

I'm no brain surgeon. I'm not even a rocket scientist. But I can usually tell when something is dead. And the Palestinian-Israeli peace talks are dead. 

Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestine Liberation Organization are making certain of that. When the PLO and Hamas recently announced that they are entering into a "unity" deal and forming a unified government, they drove a stake through the heart of the monster. 

Even the U.S. State Department had to reluctantly acknowledge that Israel cannot be expected to negotiate with a partner that refuses to recognize its right to exist. 

I'm sure, though, that the Palestinians would argue differently. They would say, and do say, that they've recognized Israel's right to exist. However, that "recognition" was given only by implication and in non-official ways. And now, the PLO is aligning itself with a notorious, recognized terrorist organization that has vowed loudly and long NEVER to recognize Israel's right to exist and NEVER to rest until it no longer exists. 

And at just the moment you think that maybe western leaders are coming to their senses, the loose cannon explodes. Secretary of State John Kerry just won't let go. He is bound and determined to nab that Nobel Peace Prize -- just like his buddies Carter, Gore, and Obama -- no matter the collateral damage. (Don't you know that really rankles Bill Clinton?) 

It came to light too late to be included in this week's program, but Kerry's recently leaked remarks to the Trilateral Commission in which he fantasizes that Israel is on the road to becoming an "apartheid state," just shows that he's still trying to ratchet up the pressure on Israel among the world's movers and shakers. 

The scripture instructs us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. One thing that events in the Middle East confirm is that as long as man is in charge, there will be no peace in Jerusalem. So when we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, we're actually praying for the 'ultimate' peace for Jerusalem. And there is only one who can bring that peace -- the Prince of Peace. 

Meanwhile, back at home, remember when America's university campuses used to be teeming with young people standing up to the establishment? I do. I was there working on campuses across America as an evangelist for Campus Crusade for Christ. 

Those were heady days -- and not just because of all the pot smoke in the air! Among the students challenging the system and the government, there was a sense of purpose and invincibility. They pushed the envelope and felt it was their right to do so. Nothing was sacred. Nothing was off-limits. Anything and everything was accepted or tolerated. 

Fast forward 40-plus years. Those anti-establishmentarians are now the establishment. And, boy, are things different! Their "tolerance" has given way to intolerance. Their celebration of contrary opinions has given way to their determination to quash those differing opinions. 

Recently, at the University of Connecticut, a student group staged an outdoor event in which they distributed leaflets protesting the teaching of evolution and supporting creationism. A campus evangelist also shared the Gospel from atop a wooden box to anyone who wanted to listen. 

Apparently the audacity of anyone on a university campus not believing in evolution was too much for a prominent anthropology professor. He launched into a two-hour rant in front of the students. He screamed in their faces. He "preached" to the gathered students about the idiocy of creationism. He tried to lead them in chants of, "Praise Darwin!" I think he missed his calling. He should have been a street corner preacher! 

No actual harm was done, but the episode illustrates the state of our nation's secular universities. They are no longer "free thinking" or "free speech" zones. The multicultural and Darwinian establishment that runs America's educational system is much more tyrannical than the "establishment" they once fought. 

What's even more ironic is that most of these teachers, professors, and administrators oppose the presence on their campuses of any form of Christianity. Yet they worship regularly at the altar of Darwinism -- which is as surely a religion as any they detest. 

Over in Europe, the spiritual vacuum that has come to characterize the Continent has drawn into itself every wicked human attempt at fulfillment to be found on our planet. Though the established church holds legal sway in many European countries, and is often supported by tax dollars, the church actually serves the State. So those nations are officially Christian, but their most dynamic growth is among Muslims. 

That's why we're seeing the explosion of "Chrislam," which is a blending of Christianity and Islam. Though the Bible teaches us to love our "neighbors" -- even Muslims -- it also warns us NOT to compromise the Bible's essential truths. In fact, to do so is blasphemy. 

That's what inspired Heidi Mund to risk humiliation and condemnation -- even her life -- to stand up for Jesus. 

Last November, Ms. Mund attended an "interfaith" concert at the Memorial Church of the Reformation in Speyer, Germany. The church is a beautiful cathedral built to honor Martin Luther and the Reformation. 

During the concert, a Muslim imam was introduced to give the Muslim call to prayer. As he began, Ms. Mund, who was sitting in the balcony, stood to her feet and began to cry out: "Jesus Christ alone is Lord of Germany. I break this curse!" 

Someone nearby yelled to her, "This is a concert for peace!" 

Ms. Mund responded, "No it's not! 'Allahu Akbar' is what Muslims scream while murdering people! Don't be fooled! Don't be fooled! This is a lie!" 

As you would expect, security personnel threw Ms. Mund out of the concert. But before she went, she called out the words that Martin Luther made famous at his trial for heresy in Worms, Germany. She cried out, "Here I stand. I can do no other." Then she shouted, "Save the church of Martin Luther!" 

Now, Ms. Mund is known around the world as "The brave German woman." She's become a symbol of resistance to Chrislam and compromise. She is also the target of death threats by radical Muslims. But she says she's not worried, "...the living God of the Bible can protect me for as long as He wants. When my time is over, I'll go to Him." 

The Apostle Paul gave a charge to young Timothy: "Do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord." (2 Timothy 1:8 NASB). Let's follow the example of Heidi Mund, "the brave German woman," and loudly proclaim the truth of God's Word to the world. 

If we don't, who will?
