As world leaders work for peace in the Middle East the current peace agreements are unraveling

World leaders in America, Europe, Russia, and the Middle East are working to bring about a peace in the Middle East even as three peace agreements between Israel and their neighbors are actually unraveling and may not be in effect for very long.
The Camp David Accords, a peace agreement between Israel and Egypt, is almost a thing of the past with the present situation in Egypt as is the case with the peace treaty between Israel and Jordan with most Jordanians wanting to dissolve that treaty.
The Oslo Accords, a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians, has never been normalized and is not a working agreement because the radical Islamists among the Palestinians have no regard for the treaty and in fact are calling for an armed struggle to eliminate the Jewish state.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
With three different peace agreements between Israel and her neighbors in place the Middle East peace process is in bad shape but it will be rescued according to Bible prophecy.
In 1979, Israel and Egypt signed the Camp David Accords, the first peace treaty that Israel ever signed with an enemy state. The Palestinians and the Israelis also came to an agreement on peace in 1993 with the Oslo Accords. In October of 1994, the late King Hussein of Jordan and the late Yitzhak Rabin prime minister of Israel, both signed a peace treaty between the two nations. What is common with all of these peace agreements is that they never have been normalized. Even the peace envoy for the Quartet, which is the US, EU, UN, and Russia, Tony Blair has not been successful in bringing about peace. However, I must remind you that Bible prophecy does call for a world leader to come on the scene who will be successful in putting a peace treaty in place that he will make work.
Daniel 9:27 says that the Antichrist will confirm a treaty between Israel and her neighbors. I did not say he will sign a treaty, but instead confirm, strengthen, make stronger, make the treaty work. In order for this to happen, there must be a peace treaty or three peace treaties on the table not working. The Antichrist will confirm them.
There are three peace treaties on the table not working, waiting for the Antichrist, a world leader, to appear.

Iranian police, termed “Iran’s Gestapo” by a Christian news site, has arrestedbetween 100 and 400 Christians and thrown them into prisons.
Firouz Khandjani, a council member of the 'Church of Iran' house church movement, told the Christian BosNewsLife website, "We have learned that at least 100, but perhaps as many as 400 people, have been detained over the last 10 days.”
He said massive arrests of men and women included the break-up of church services held by evangelical Christians in three cities, including Tehran. "We know that many have been forced to say they will no longer attend church services in exchange for freedom,” he said.
"They are of several movements. But it has become clear that Protestant Christians are now viewed as enemy number one of the state," according to Khandjani. "We need urgent prayers.”
One of at least five members of the Church of Iran in the city of Shiraz who werearrested last Friday is Mohammed Roghangir, known locally as 'Brother Vahid', who led a house church service attended by some 15 people.
"We are also concerned about sister Roxana Forughi as this is the second time she is being detained,” Khandjani added.
Iranian Christians said they were taken to Plak 100, the notorious detention center of Iran's Intelligence Ministry.
Khandjani confirmed reports that seven Christians received suspended five-year sentences last week for "action against the national security," after they were already jailed for up to three weeks in Rasht, some six years ago.
The latest reported crackdown comes on the eve of Monday’s trial of five Christian converts detained in Adel-Abad prison eight months ago following a raid on a house church in Shiraz.
Since their arrests, the five been confined in cells housing dangerous criminals on charges of "creating illegal groups", "participating in a house church service", "propagation against the Islamic regime" and "defaming Islamic holy figures through Christian evangelizing," Iranian Christians said.
Iranian Pastor Behnam Irani potentially faces the death penalty for the "apostasy” of abandoning Islam.
The news site estimates there are at least 100,000 evangelical Christians in Iran, based on numbers provided church groups.

The Palestinians are calling for unity in order to be able to destroy the state of Israel

A minister of the Palestinian Authority, the ruling body for the Palestinian people, says that the two factions of the Palestinian people, Fatah and Hamas, must unite in order to achieve the destruction of the state of Israel.  This report from an official Palestinian Authority newspaper revealed a number of Palestinian Authority ministers who agreed with the call for Palestinian unity in their struggle against Israel.

Both Fatah and Hamas, the two factions of the Palestinian body politic, have been involved in the armed struggle to remove the Jewish state from the land that Palestinians claim as their state and now the radical rhetoric is calling for Palestinian unity in order to destroy the Jewish state of Israel.

A call by the official of the Palestinian Authority for the Palestinian people to unite in order to destroy the Jewish state of Israel is a page out of Bible prophecy for the last days.

In a large Palestinian rally attended by female Palestinian prisoners recently released from Israeli jails, an official of the Palestinian Authority called for the reunification of the Palestinian people.  The Palestinian Authority minister said that the Palestinians must unite in order to achieve their goal of the destruction of the Jewish state of Israel and the establishment of a Palestinian state on all the land that today belongs to the Jewish people.

This Palestinian plan fits exactly with the prophetic passages found in the Bible that reveals what will happen in the last days between Israel and the Palestinians.  Malachi wrote that the Edomites, the Palestinian people of today, would return to Israel and set up borders - borders which the Lord said will be borders of wickedness (Malachi 1).  Ezekiel foretold of a time when the Palestinians would kill the Jewish people and then take their land (Ezekiel 35).  The little prophetic book of Obadiah says that the Palestinians will become intoxicated with power as they take the steps to rid the land now known as Israel of the Jewish people, but these Palestinians themselves will be destroyed (Obadiah 15-18).

Calls for the Palestinians to unite in order to be able to destroy Israel will only set the stage for the opposite to happen.  Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The highest ranking Moslem cleric in Saudi Arabia is calling for all churches to be destroyed

The Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, Sheik Abdul Abdullah, says that it is necessary to destroy all churches in the Middle East, and he based his declaration on the Islamic holy book, the Hadith, which quotes Mohammad as saying on his death bed, that only Islam can be practiced in the Middle East.  The Mufti asserted that all law in the Middle East must conform to Sharia, the law of the Koran as revealed by Allah, the Islamic god.
This declaration by the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia comes on the heels of a Wall Street Journal article written by the Israeli ambassador to the United Nations which stated that Arab discrimination against Christian minorities is a prevalent phenomenon throughout the Arab world.

A declaration by the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia that Christian churches in the Middle East must be destroyed is a page out of Bible prophecy.
Over the last several years there have been many reports of Christian churches being destroyed and church attenders being killed by radical Islamists.  This phenomenon has been on the increase in recent days and the declaration from the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia that all Christian churches in the Middle East must be destroyed, will only add to the urgency of this destruction by Moslem radicals.
Across the Arab world, more and more Christians and their churches and leaders, are the focus of a fast growing element in our world today who say only the Islamic religion is the one that all of human kind must be a part of in this time in history.  This scenario unfolding today was actually written about in a yesterday over 2000 years ago.  John, the human writer of the book of Revelation, wrote of the slaughter of believers in Jesus Christ in a number of locations in the book of Revelation.  Revelation 6:9-11 foretells of a time when those who stand for the Word of God, the Bible, and who have a testimony that Jesus Christ is their Savior, these believers will be killed.  Revelation 20:4 says that they will be beheaded for their faith.  These Biblical prophecies are referring to the time of Tribulation, that seven year period of judgment on the earth following the Rapture and before the Second Coming of Christ.
The Grand Mufti's call for all Christian churches in the Middle East to be destroyed is indeed a lead up to Bible prophecy being fulfilled.

A Prophetic Past, Present, and Future

October 10, 2012

Dear Friend of Israel,
A couple of months ago I traveled to Hungary – a bittersweet trip in many ways. As I walked through the incredibly beautiful city of Budapest, I couldn’t help but think of the 600,000 Jews who were murdered there just decades ago during the Holocaust. Though Hungary boasts the largest Jewish population in Eastern Europe with roughly 100,000 people, this is still a far cry from the one million Jews who called Hungary home before World War II.
As I walked down the ancient streets and contemplated all that was lost there, I felt like Ezekiel looking down on the valley of Sheol and seeing the dry bones. “Will these bones again live?”he asked in Ezekiel 37:3. At the same time, I had to ask myself:Will there ever again be a thriving Jewish life in Eastern Europe?
I began to see a hint of a hopeful answer to that question when I visited a summer camp for Jewish youth in Hungary. The camp brings together hundreds of young Jews to help them learn about and reclaim their Jewish identities. During the dark years of Nazi and communist rule, Jews hid all evidence of their Judaism to ensure their survival, and subsequent generations have grown up knowing nothing of their faith and traditions.
It was inspiring to see these young people being instructed in, and eagerly embracing, their Jewish faith. Looking to the future, however, I can’t help but think that the ultimate hope for them and other Jews in Europe is to make aliyah to Israel. Despite the continued threat of terror attacks, and the even graver threat of a nuclear Iran, Israel is still the safest place for Jewish people to call home. Here we may live with dignity and self-determination. Only in the Holy Land are we truly free to practice the rich traditions of our faith without fear of prejudice or persecution – prejudice and persecution that not only still exists, but is rising, throughout Europe and the world.
A strong, united Israel populated by Jews from around the world – including Judaism’s best and brightest – sends a message to the world that God’s people will endure. Jewish history is filled with cycles of persecution, followed by periods of stability, followed by more persecution. This is one of the main reasonsThe Fellowship makes aliyah possible for countless Jews around the world through our On Wings of Eagles program. We know the significance of a strong Jewish state. We know it’s imperative that we invest in the next generation by fully involving them in Jewish life, getting them excited about Israel, and helping build leadership and renewal for the future.
Though he was initially distraught, the prophet Ezekiel ultimately declared that there is hope for Israel’s future and that her children would return to her borders. Thanks to our generous supporters – and to God’s blessing – we are helping to facilitate that prophetic return and ensure that hopeful future.
With prayers for shalom, peace,

Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein

The Vatican has called for a central world bank

The Vatican recently called for a global public authority and a central world bank to rule over the financial institutions that have been at the center of the global economic crisis because they have become outdated and ineffective in dealing with this financial crisis.  There are those who say that this proposal by the Vatican is music to the ears of the demonstrators around the world who are calling for economic equality for all.

The 18 page Vatican document says that if a central financial authority is not set up, the crisis at a social, political, and economic level could create a climate of growing hostility and even violence which will ultimately destroy the foundations of our world.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The recent call by the Vatican for a central world bank and a global economic authority fits the prophetic scenario that is found in Bible prophecy for the last days.

In our world today there is a global economic crisis that does not seem to be going away.  Both the European Union and the United States face major financial problems that no one can find a solution for at the present time.  There have been calls by members of the G-20, the 20 leading economies of this world, for a worldwide financial structure to resolve this global economic crisis.

Now the Vatican has released a plan that they believe will bring about the end of this financial crisis.  In fact the Vatican plan says if there is not a resolution to the financial crisis violence will break out across the world.  The Vatican plan with a central authority and a world bank is a page out of Bible prophecy for the last days.

The book of Revelation reveals that there will be a central authority to rule over a global economic structure and it will be headquartered in Babylon which is modern-day Iraq (Revelation 18).  This economic system will cause all in the world to take an identification mark on their forehead or the back of their hand in order to be able to buy or sell any necessity of life (Revelation 13:16-17).  The fulfillment of these prophecies will take place after the Rapture of the Church.

However, our present world crisis is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
