On June 24 — by a narrow margin of only 51 percent — a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, Mohammed Morsi, became president-elect of Egypt. One of his main spokesmen, Safwat al-Hegazy, shared before thousands the ultimate goal of Morsi's election:
"Our capital shall not be Cairo, Mecca or Medina. It shall be Jerusalem, Allah willing! Our cry will be 'Millions of martyrs march toward Jerusalem.... Yes, Jerusalem is our goal. We shall pray in Jerusalem, or else we will die as martyrs on its threshold.'"
On top of this shocking declaration, Iran has announced joint military exercises in the Mediterranean with Russia and China in the near future. These are dangerous times for Israel and the world!
The candidate for the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, Mohamed Morsi, was named the winner of the presidential election and for the first time in history, an Islamist is now the leader of this the largest Arab country in the world. Morsi tried to relieve all Egyptians of the fact that his Islamic beliefs will not be imposed on everyone in Egypt which many pundits and consultants doubt will be the case over the long haul even though Morsi may keep his word at least in the short term. Muslim Brotherhood beliefs call for shariah to be implemented as the law of the land and for all Muslims to destroy Israel when they march to Jerusalem to make it the capital of the caliphate, a worldwide Islamic kingdom. Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News A member of the Muslim Brotherhood being elected as president of Egypt sets the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled. The goal of the Muslim Brotherhood is to put in place a worldwide caliphate, a global kingdom under shariah, the law of the Koran. The duly elected president of Egypt, Mohamed Morsi, has stated in the past and endorsed radical Islamic clerics who have called for Jerusalem to be the capital of the United States of the Arab Nations. Though Morsi has tried to be president of all of the Egyptians, his Islamic roots compel him to follow the directive of the Koran and be at the task of making Egypt an Islamic republic. That being the case, Morsi is destined to move Egypt towards the scenario for the last days that can be found in Bible prophecy. That scenario was written down in the Scriptures by the ancient Jewish prophet Daniel. In Daniel 11:40-43, the prophet foretold of a time when the nation of Egypt would be one of the first nations to attack Israel. The king of the South in Daniel 11:40 is defined as the geographical location of modern day Egypt. An alignment of nations will form a coalition made up of Islamic nations who will move to destroy the Jewish state of Israel, Daniel 11, Ezekiel 38, and Psalm 83. The nation of Egypt led by a radical Islamist does indeed set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
Sometimes the failure of the Mainstream Media to report stories of consequence simply amazes me. I know that most of the media types now spend their days in a panic to find stories that support their liberal causes or make the conservative majority look nutty, but missing or deciding not to report this story is inexplicable. Middle East news sources are now reporting about a deal between Saudi Arabia and China that has been in the works since January. In fact, a member of the Saudi royal family was brought out of retirement to negotiate it. Prince Bandar, the former longtime Saudi ambassador to the United States, has tentatively worked out an agreement with the Chinese. The Saudis want to purchase off-the-shelf nuclear missiles from China. The Dong Feng 21 medium-range ballistic missiles will carry a single nuclear warhead payload. They will be installed at bases in Saudi Arabia that are inaccessible to Iran. In return, Saudi Arabia will guarantee an unlimited supply of oil to China through the year 2035. And the oil will continue to flow despite OPEC strictures or any other problems that may beset the desert kingdom in the future. Where do I start? Wouldn't you think this is a bigger story than New York Mayor Bloomberg outlawing soft drinks and buttery popcorn or 15 nuns on a bus tour to protest Republican spending cuts? Apparently Big Media doesn't think so. Why? Maybe because it validates what Israel has been saying for years. The Israelis have continually insisted that if the West allows Iran to produce nuclear weapons, it will cause a high stakes nuclear arms race in the Middle East. And the Saudis are the first of the Arabs to ante up. But that should come as no surprise. The Saudis have made it clear for years that they are terrified of an ascendant Iran. But, apparently, no one in our government believed them. Well, now the arms race is on. And the stakes are horrifically high, especially in a rough neighborhood like the Middle East. But, for me, that's not even the biggest story. You don't have to be a foreign affairs expert to know that China is the most voracious user of energy in the world. With her masses, and the need to keep those masses happy by keeping them gainfully employed, China is on a constant hunt for new sources of fuel. In fact, it's China's (and India's) insatiable hunger for energy that made the Kyoto Treaty so laughable that the Democrat-controlled Senate, by a vote of 95-0, told President Bill Clinton not to even think about bringing it to the Senate for ratification. Why? Because it didn't bind China or India to compliance. Just the West. So here you have the world's greatest consumer of fuel and energy -- who has expressed no intention of curbing that appetite -- making a deal for unlimited supplies of oil from the world's largest exporter of oil. And the deal's good for the next 23 years! Obviously, there's no story there, either (never mind the nuclear weapons angle). But for Bible prophecy watchers, this is a massive story. Many have wondered what could conceivably cause the Kings of the East to send an army of 200 million men into the Middle East to confront the forces of the Gog-Magog alliance. Could it be the threat to their energy lifelines? I'll discuss the possibilities this week. Have you been dismayed by the recent Executive Order arbitrarily abrogating certain immigration laws, the claim of "executive privilege" in the Fast and Furious scandal, the last-minute instruction to the Pentagon to observe Gay Pride Month in the military branches, or the decision to remove military editions of the Bible from Base Exchanges? So have I. Sometimes, it's difficult not to despair when we see how quickly our beloved nation is being "fundamentally transformed" right before our eyes. Well, in the light of all of the discouraging things happening around us, this week I'm going to discuss a subject that grows more important with each passing day. That is, how to know God's will for your life. But more specifically, how to learn God's will for your life through the process of finding your spiritual "gift." This is probably one of the most talked about and most misunderstood subjects in the New Testament. When we are born again into God's family, the Bible tells us that we all receive at least one spiritual "gift." Simply put, a spiritual "gift" is a God-given supernatural ability. We are given these "gifts" to enable us to accomplish God's calling in our lives.
Israel has been under heavy rocket attack the past 24 hours. PLEASE pray for the salvation and safety of the citizens of Israel. Our dear friend living in Israel, Yossi Bar Negev, posted on my Facebook page today, “No doubt we're living in amazing times. With Hamas shooting in rockets from Gaza, the threat from Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt plus the slaughter taking place in Syria, we can see that the clock is ticking closer and closer to Yeshua's return.”

Southern Israel under heavy fire, 11 wounded

Palestinian terrorists operating out of the Gaza Strip fired more than 50 rockets and mortar shells into southern Israel on Tuesday and into Monday morning. Eleven border policemen were wounded in one of the attacks.
The attacks began during the pre-dawn hours Tuesday, and continued with a hail of rocket fire throughout the day. The only casualties reported were from a direct missile strike on a building near the coastal town of Ashkelon, where 11 officers with Israel's Border Police suffered light-to-moderate shrapnel injuries.
The assault continued on Wednesday morning with more short-range Kassam rocket attacks and at least one medium-range Grad missile attack that targeted the town of Beersheva.
Israeli forces responded with numerous overnight aerial raids on terrorist installations in Gaza. A number of terrorists were reportedly killed in the Israeli reprisals, but army officials cautioned that the situation was likely to get a lot more intense in the coming hours and days.
Gaza's Hamas rulers have actually claimed responsibility for many of the rocket attacks, a departure from the group's usual policy of letting smaller allied terror groups take the blame for attacks on southern Israel.
It is likely that Hamas is feeling emboldened by the assumed Muslim Brotherhood victory in Egypt's presidential election. Hamas is an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood, and views the rise to power of the latter in neighboring Egypt as the start of a new era of "resistance" against the Zionist regime.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard has stepped up its campaign on Christians in its nation and Iranian Christians are in a dire situation concerned that this militant Muslim army will close down their churches and even imprison or kill the Christians living in this Islamic republic. In Iran, the death penalty is imposed on those who convert from Islam to Christianity and those who embrace Christianity are targeted for persecution and even death. Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News The crackdown on Christians in Iran, and in fact across the entire Middle East, is only the tip of the iceberg as it relates to believers in Christ being persecuted in the last days according to Bible prophecy. There have been a number of reports coming out of the Middle East that there has been an increase in the attacks on churches and Christians in this region of the world. A high ranking Muslim cleric in Saudi Arabia recently issued a fatwah calling for Muslims to attack all churches, kill Christians and in fact rid the Middle East of Christianity. Now, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, the militia of the supreme council of Iran, has increased their persecution of Iranian Christians and the closing down of churches in Iran. The biblical book of Revelation written by the Apostle John records prophecies of the martyrdom of believers in Christ during the seven years of great judgment on the earth called the Tribulation. When Satan and his evil angels are thrown out of Heaven, Revelation 12, the Devil will try to eliminate all of those who stand for Jesus Christ. At the end of the Tribulation, to enter the Kingdom and rule and reign with Jesus Christ, Revelation 20:4. In addition, Jews who believe in Jesus Christ will be the focus of Satanic persecution as well during that period of time referred to as the Time of Jacob's Trouble, Revelation 12:13-17. Iranian persecution of Christians is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
Ahmed a- Taib, the highest ranking cleric in Egypt and one of the most important clerics in the entire Sunni Arab world, has called on all Moslems who value their religion, to join him in his effort to stop the Judaization of Jerusalem. A- Taib has set up a special committee to prevent the progress of the Zionist plan to Judaize Jeruslaem and the Islamic cleric has called on all Moslem leaders to commit to using whatever sources that they have at their disposal to defend al Aksa Mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News The call by an Egyptian Moslem cleric to liberate the city of Jerusalem is a call to arms in the Islamic world but it is also a page out of Bible prophecy for the last days. The highest ranking Moslem cleric in Egypt and perhaps the entire Sunni Arab world has set in motion a plan to remove all Jews from the city of Jerusalem. Underneath the banner of a campaign to stop the Judaization of Jerusalem, Ahmed a- Taib has called on all Moslems everywhere to join his efforts to remove Jews from Jerusalem and to use every source at their disposal to achieve their goal. A meeting between A- Taib and the leaders of the Islamic terror group Hamas brought a strategy together for achieving their goal of a Jew free Jerusalem. This report is tangible evidence of how the prophetic scenario found in Bible prophecy is quickly approaching the fulfillment on each of the prophecies related to the city of Jerusalem. Zechariah 12:2 says that in the last days Jerusalem will be the center of controversy. The Davidic Covenant found in II Samuel 7 reveals that the Lord will place the Jews in Jerusalem forever and there He will protect them from all of their enemies. Jesus Christ said that He would return to Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:4) and there build a temple where He will rule and reign forever (Zechariah 6:12-13). Jerusalem is the place where the Lord said that He would dwell among His people, the Jewish people, forever (Psalm 132:13-14). No Moslem cleric or anyone else for that matter can stop Bible prophecy from being fulfilled.

First, I want to express my profound appreciation to President Barak Obama for doing what all of the Republican candidates have not been able to do for months: he unified the Bible-believing church in America in one week over the issue of abortion.
When the President ordered the Catholic Church to provide contraceptives to prevent the birth of new life, he hit a nerve in the heart of every true Catholic and Evangelical.
Being a politician, he will attempt to compromise his position until after the election and then release the full power of government to force the church to obey the state. Think about this! If he made this bold statement before the election, consider how brutal he will be if he is re-elected!
I have said it before and I will say it again: the election on November 6, 2012 for the office of President is the day of decision for America. Four more years of Obama will bring absolute socialism to America. Our children and grandchildren will never know the greatness of America that we have experienced. THIS MUST NOT HAPPEN!
FORTY DAYS OF PRAYER
I am asking the Christians of America to join us in 40 days of prayer for this Presidential election. These 40 days of prayer will begin on September 28, 2012. You can do it individually or in groups, but prayer is the most powerful force God has given us to bring our nation back to righteousness. I'll be saying more about this as the year progresses, but mark it on your calendar and start telling your family, friends, and church members NOW about the 40 days of prayer.
