As we look at geopolitical events unfolding in our world today there is evidence that this world is ready for something spectacular to happen

In our wold today, we see events happening that seem to be somewhat of a stage setter for something catastrophic or spectacular to happen, something that could happen which would INDEED change the entire earth's future.

In the Middle East, Egypt is involved in one crisis after another. The civil war in Syria brings more death to Syrians on a daily basis and the Jewish state of Israel is under a political attack especially from the Palestinians.

If you take a look to the far East, the prospects that China and India with a total of one-third of the earth's population and both of these nations increasing daily in population, wealth, and military preparedness, they both are becoming somewhat of a superpower in our world today.

Geopolitical activities and current events in our world today are setting the stage for what some call a catastrophic event to happen but is in reality only a part of the end of times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

If you are a watcher of geopolitical activities and current events and at the same time familiar with Bible prophecy, you will be able to recognize that our world is on the fast track to the scenario that is found in the pages of Bible prophecy. As a student of Bible prophecy and what I call a news junkie, I do recognize that this world is very close to the last days scenario that is found in the pages of Bible prophecy. The far East is quickly putting in place their economic and military preparedness in order to become nations that would be included in the superpowers of this world.

This was actually foretold by John the Revelator when he wrote about the impact of the Kings of the East in Revelation 16:12. Europe and the EU with all of their economic struggles are working to put in place an economic structure that is described in Bible prophecy, Daniel 7:23-24 and Revelation 18.

In the Middle East with the radicalism prevalent in both Syria and Egypt to the North and to the South of the Jewish state of Israel, one can understand better the pre-written history written by Daniel the prophet in Daniel 11:40-43 and see how this world will INDEED see catastrophic, spectacular events in the near future.

Crises involving two major players in the end-times prophetic scenario have consumed the news cycles the past week: The shooting down of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH-17 in eastern Ukraine and "Operation Protective Edge" in Israel and Gaza. 

In his evangelistic fervor to restore Russia to the former Soviet Union's glory, Vladimir Putin has been orchestrating the unrest in Crimea and eastern Ukraine. His efforts to foment a civil war in Ukraine that will result in the secession of the eastern part of that nation and its incorporation into the Russian sphere, has placed him on a collision course with the West, most notably the European Union and NATO. 

He has been pouring weapons and mercenaries (and no doubt plainclothes Russian troops) into the areas the "separatists" control. He has sent advanced weapons systems and advisers to train the rebels in their use. He's sent thugs to train other thugs. 

Well, this week, the thugs rewarded him for his efforts. They shot a civilian airliner out of the sky. All 298 passengers and crew of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH-17 were murdered in cold blood. 

Of course, blame is flying like a Saharan sandstorm. The West is blaming Putin and the rebels. Putin is blaming Ukraine and implying that the West is complicit. He's even advancing bizarre sci-fi theories involving the previous Malaysia Airlines flight gone missing a few months ago. 

But it seems quite clear that the Russian "separatists" in eastern Ukraine did it with deadly missiles supplied by Russia. The Ukrainian government caught them on tape discussing it. And the Russians were videoed hauling the SA-11 missile battery back over the border with two missiles missing -- just four hours after the incident. 

Already, Vladimir Putin is drawing the condemnation of the world down on himself -- perhaps even more so because he refuses to accept any responsibility and continues to deny any culpability. Some analysts have already proclaimed Russia a pariah to the world. 

I don't know how ostracized Putin will actually become, especially considering how crafty he is and how weak the leadership in the West is. There's no doubt, though, that Russia will be held up to ridicule and suspicion and given the cold-shoulder by many in the world except his admirers and clients in the Middle East. Already, Iran is stepping up to assure Russia that it will remain friendly. In fact, speculation has it that a new deal for Iran to supply Russia with vast oil shipments will be fast-tracked. 

The prophet Ezekiel wrote in chapter 38 of his book that in the last days Russia would be pressed -- perhaps somewhat unwillingly -- into leading a coalition of nations headed by Persia (modern Iran). We see that ancient prediction developing before our eyes this week! 

Of course, the ultimate target of that malevolent coalition will be none other than Israel, which is now embroiled in its own crisis. 

The Israelis, once again, reached the limits of their patience and longsuffering and have moved to defend their nation. After thousands of indiscriminate rocket and mortar attacks and growing numbers of terrorist incursions into Israel via "terror tunnels" from Gaza, Israel launched "Operation Protective Edge." 

The outrage that finally tipped the scale was the recent kidnapping and subsequent murders of three Israeli high-school students by Hamas operatives. Even then, the state's response has been measured and as "compassionate" as possible in such a dangerous situation. 

Israel has made it clear that it intends to track down the leadership of Hamas and incapacitate them. It has also made clear that it will seek out and destroy the dozens of sophisticated "terror tunnels" from Gaza into Israel that Hamas has constructed over the last few years with money donated by western nations. It has also announced its determination to disable and destroy as many Hamas weapons arsenals, caches, and launching facilities as possible. Israel's goal is to prevent Hamas from engaging in further missile warfare on Israeli citizens. 

This seems like a logical response by a sovereign nation to constant, indiscriminate aggression by an enemy. But fighting an organization recognized by the world as brutal terrorists is not like fighting another state. To varying degrees, a state can be expected to recognize generally accepted conventions of war and abide by those. Most states do not want to draw the wrath of the world down on them. 

Terrorists, however, are just that -- terrorists. They deal in terror. The more the better. They don't play by the rules. They sneer at those who do. 

That describes Hamas. Not only have they announced that ALL Israelis are legitimate targets (including children, which explains why they target schools, pre-schools, and nurseries), but they employ a strategy to increase their own civilian casualties as much as possible. 

That's why Hamas and their associated groups place their rocket launchers in neighborhoods and backyards. They store their missiles and weapons in houses, hospitals, schools (including U.N schools), and mosques. They know the Israelis will extend every effort to avoid civilian casualties so that means their weapons are safe. 

And when, after warning the Palestinian civilians to vacate by dropping leaflets, telephoning them, and sending non-explosive warning shots, the Israelis do strike and civilians are killed, that's even better! Then, Hamas and their allies in the world media have terrific photos and death-tolls to use for propaganda! 

It sounds sick to those of us who value life, but those are the facts on the ground in Gaza and the West Bank. 

And even though the United Nations labels the practice of using civilians as human shields as a war crime, the world turns a blind eye to the practice when the Palestinian terrorists do it. The media is ablaze with calls for Israel to stop its "aggression" for the sake of the civilians. But very few are calling for Hamas to stop its barrage of missiles or its terror attacks or its sacrifice of its own people for propaganda purposes. 

This should be a black and white no-brainer. But not these days. That's why every time the Israelis have to rise up to defend themselves, the blind opposition of the world grows stronger and more focused. The prophets predict that there will come a day when Israel will no longer be able to defend itself by itself and will have to accept the help of an outsider. He will step in to protect Israel and guarantee its security. 

They will accept his help and peace will finally reign in Israel -- but only for a short three and a half years. 

SHE SAW THE PLANE CRASH BEFORE IT OCCURRED

Several days prior to making the journey to England for the New Testament Church of God’s annual conference in Birmingham, I received a test from one of our youth leaders which resulted into a prophetic word and warning.  There is a young woman who on several occasions experiences dreams and visions of events, which no one knows are coming and in her dreams she sees events before they occur.  Two examples are as follows.

Several years ago while praying in the prayer barn, she saw in an open vision an earthquake that struck Washington, D.C.  This was felt as far away as New York.  Several weeks later the noted D.C. earthquake that cracked the top of the Washington Monument and toppled several stone angels at the National Cathedral occurred. In the second example, she saw in the spirit a major tornado north of Atlanta that would devastate an entire city which occurred only weeks later.

Then months ago she saw in a dream planes falling out of the sky.  On Monday before my trip, I received a text from her that she had seen a plane that was attacked by terrorists.  In the dream I said that it was the Russians that were behind it!  When I was in England, I was stunned to turn on the television and see that Russian Separatist had used a surface to air missile and shot a commercial airliner out of the sky.  I believe the Holy Spirit revealed tragedy to this young, praying woman.

Seeing into the future through a dream or a vision is major part of Joel’s prediction, that God would pour out His Spirit on sons and daughters, and this manifestation would be accompanied by dreams and visions. At OCI we have several youth that are being used by the Lord in this prophetic arena to see events weeks or months before they occur. This includes situations that may impact the nation, or the region in which they live. When we hear a person who has a reputation of hearing from the Lord and they do not “miss” their predictions, we should pay attention and remain prayerful as God uses dreams and visions to warn and inform His people!

A Muslim cleric has called for the destruction of the US and the EU and a Muslim kingdom to be setup in Jerusalem

The Friday sermon by a radical Muslim cleric in Jerusalem on the Temple Mount has the world paying attention. The cleric stated that Islam will destroy the US and the EU and setup an Islamic kingdom in Jerusalem. David Dolan, longtime journalist in Jerusalem reports to us about this provocative statement

David Dolan: Definitely provocative Jimmy but it's something we have been hearing not necessarily from the site of the ancient Jewish Temple itself but certainly from many mosques around the region. We have had such calls made before, I don't know that it ever included a call for the destruction of the US though. It's considered of course officially one of 13 holy sites, Mecca of course being number 1 in Arabia, Medina where Mohammed was buried number 2, and then Jerusalem is ranked 3.

They believe that their triumph what the Koran says, the triumph of Islam over the infidels over Judaism and Christianity and other faiths, the fact that Mohammed is the final prophet as they see it, etc. as written out in the Koran and that was all proof to be the case by their conquest of Jerusalem soon after Mohammed's death. That site's very important. This is just another step towards that worldwide move to bring in a caliphate and to unite all of the Arab-Muslim countries under one banner, provocative and it's something Israel has to keep a close eye on and so does the rest of the world.

The call for an Islamic kingdom headquartered in Jerusalem is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Islamic eschatology does call for a worldwide kingdom that will be based in Jerusalem. The Mahdi, Arabic for messiah, will rule this Islamic caliphate, a worldwide Islamic kingdom from Jerusalem. The Biblical Kingdom will be setup in Jerusalem according to Zechariah 1:16 when Jesus Christ comes back. He will come to Jerusalem, build His Temple, and then He will rule and reign from that Temple, Zechariah 6:13. He will do that in fulfillment of the Davidic Covenant, a promise to King David that there will be a Kingdom forever on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, II Samuel 7.

The Islamic call for a kingdom in Jerusalem is simply setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

A Jewish rabbi in Jerusalem is calling for Jews to stop praying at the Western Wall

Rabbi Yehuda Glick, of an organization called "The Movement for the Establishment of the Temple", says that the Jewish people have become psychologically connected, over the centuries, to the Western Wall of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem because the rebuilding of the temple seems like an impossible task. Rabbi Glick says that about 25 years ago Jews started to ascend to the Temple Mount even though it was a very small group but now hundreds are now on a regular basis going up on to the Temple Mount to offer their prayers.

The rabbi is now calling for Jews to unite and make every effort to go on to this sacred location for every Jew, the Temple Mount, and become focused on the rebuilding of the next temple in Jerusalem.

The call by a rabbi in Jerusalem to ascend to the Temple Mount in preparation for the next Jewish temple on this sacred site, is the next step to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

Rabbi Yehuda Glick for a number of years directed the efforts of the Temple Institute to prepare for the building of the next Jewish temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The Temple Institute has all the implements needed to operate the temple including the knowledge of the location of the Ark of the Covenant. All 28,000 priests, to be used in the next temple, have been trained and even their priestly garments are either made or being made right now.

However, Rabbi Glick now believes it is time to prepare the Jewish people to become accustomed to ascending the Temple Mount, not only for learning and prayer, but to be involved in the Temple practices as well. That's why he says no more prayers at the Western Wall but instead, let's go up on to the Temple Mount.

God's prophetic Word does say that in the last days the Messiah, Jesus Christ, will return to build the temple on the Temple Mount (Zechariah 1:16, 6:12). That temple built by the Messiah will be His kingdom temple where He reigns for 1000 years. However, before the Messiah's temple is built on the Temple Mount there will be a Tribulation temple (Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, II Thessalonians 2:4, and Revelation 11:1).

Jews ascending onto the Temple Mount today are actually setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Nehemiah was the descendant of Israelite captives in Babylon, though by his time, the Media-Persian Empire had long since overtaken the Babylonians. Nehemiah was King Artaxerxes' cupbearer. That meant he was highly placed in the kingdom and was in the king's inner circle of confidantes. So Nehemiah understood the importance of securing the kingdom and protecting its sovereignty. 

Then one day, Nehemiah received a message that would turn him into one of the pivotal men in Bible history. In chapter one of the book that bears his name, Nehemiah wrote, "Hanani one of my brethren came with men from Judah; and I asked them concerning the Jews who had escaped, who had survived the captivity, and concerning Jerusalem. And they said to me, 'The survivors who are left from the captivity in the province are there in great distress and reproach. The wall of Jerusalem is also broken down, and its gates are burned with fire.'" (Nehemiah 1:2-3, NKJV) 

Nehemiah had never seen Jerusalem, but he still considered it home. When he learned that the survivors were in great distress and that the wall of Jerusalem was broken down, the news hit him hard. "So it was, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned for many days; I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven." (Nehemiah 1:4 NKJV) 

Why did he take it so hard? Why did he weep and mourn for many days? Because he knew what it meant for the walls to be down. 

The strategic implications of fallen walls are severe. The big one is this: The enemy comes and goes at his will. Walls represent a nation's sovereignty. If the walls are down, the enemy has reign. Broken walls guarantee defeat. 

America's walls are broken. Not just spiritual, moral, and political walls, but our actual, physical border walls. 

Sovereignty over a border means that a nation controls whom it will allow to enter. Only America's enemies want terrorists to come and go as they please at our borders. Only those who hate America want gang members to come and go as they please at our borders - or for drugs and drug dealers to flow in with little or no resistance. 

It is a basic function of national sovereignty for a country to decide for itself whom it will let cross its borders. Broken walls mean anarchy and chaos. Broken walls allow for the plunder and destruction of a nation. Broken walls lead to a loss of national sovereignty. 

America is now facing a crisis of unimagined proportions along its borders - and flowing into the heartland - that is much graver than the mainstream media or the federal government will admit. It has been created by a combination of laws and presidential executive orders. And it threatens our nation in ways it has never been threatened before. 

Halfway across the world, another nation of kindred spirit is suffering because of its broken walls. With its many ill-advised exchanges of land for "peace," Israel has been unable to maintain the absolute integrity of some of its borders. The results have been disastrous. 

In Israel, the war against the Jews - a war that has raged for centuries - continues with renewed vigor. You've been hearing about "Operation Protective Edge" in the mainstream media. You've also been hearing about large numbers of Palestinian casualties. 

What you've not been hearing is the "why." The media would have you believe it's a result of the kidnapping and murder of three Israeli teen aged boys, and the subsequent murder of a Palestinian teen by allegedly enraged Jewish settlers. 

But those are simply recent, deplorable and tragic events that indicate the deeper cause - the unreasoning hatred of Jews by radical Muslims and, more and more, by the Palestinian people. 

The western media downplay the fact that in recent days more than 1,000 rockets and missiles have rained down on Israel from Gaza. Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and various splinter groups have launched a new offensive against the state of Israel. Israel has show remarkable restraint, but only hours after Israel accepted an Egyptian-brokered ceasefire, Hamas resumed its rocket barrage in an act of sheer defiance. 

Here's why there continue to be Palestinian civilian casualties even though Israel goes to extraordinary lengths to warn residents to flee before their neighborhoods are struck: Hamas is using Gazan citizens as human shields. According to the United Nations, that constitutes a war crime. 

Here's how Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the situation: "...we're using missile defence to protect our civilians and they're using their civilians to protect their missiles... the rocketeers are firing from homes. These are homes that are actually command posts of the Hamas and Islamic Jihad army, so that's where they have their secure communications, weapon caches, rockets hidden, map rooms, and so on. These are the command posts. Obviously we're not going to give them immunity, and so we have to attack them and we try to minimize, as we can, civilian casualties." 

The Prime Minister failed to mention that Hamas also uses schools, hospitals, and mosques as weapons arsenals and launch emplacements. 

Israel seems committed to pressing "Operation Protective Edge" in an effort to limit Hamas' ability to wage this kind of rocket war in the near future. And none too soon, because as time passes, the sophistication and potency of their missile stockpile increases. Unless it's stopped, before long Hamas will be able to target Jerusalem and Tel Aviv with devastating firepower. 

Finally, the Foreign Editor for a German newspaper group, Welt, recently penned an op-ed for The New York Times. He articulated a surprising European perspective on President Obama's "Europeanization" of America. 

Referring to the Syrian civil war, Clemens Wergin wrote: "I suddenly understood the problem with this American president and his foreign policy. He sounded just like a German politician: all moral outrage, but little else to help end one of the most devastating civil wars of our age. President Obama, I thought with a sigh, has become European. Indeed, the less this president wants to get involved in something abroad, the more he dials up his rhetoric." 

Then Wergin discussed the European concept of "soft power" and the uselessness of soft power without something to back it up. He wrote: "While Europeans are loath to admit it, they know that European soft power often doesn't work either - and that it is a luxury that they could afford only because America's hard power always loomed in the background. And when they dropped the ball, America would pick it up. And therein lies the lesson to our American friends who seemingly want to become less involved and more European: There is no second America to back you up when you drop the ball." 

"There is no second America." 

So as America becomes more European, we have to ask what will happen when the next great crisis arises. To whom will the world turn? The chaos that will follow a crumbling U.S. economy will make a new world order certain, even necessary. It will open the door for certain men to grab the keys to the planet as if they just bought the place. The Bible calls those men the Antichrist and the False Prophet. 

The Palestinian leadership reaffirms that they have not abandoned their armed struggle against Israel

In an announcement from the leadership of the Palestinian people and even the Palestinian government they reaffirmed their program of armed struggle in resistance against what they call the Israeli occupation of their land and their Palestinian state.

The Palestinian leadership has committed to the creation of a Palestinian state and both factions of the Palestinian people, Hamas and Fatah, believe an armed struggled will be needed to remove the Israeli occupiers from their land in order to be able to create a Palestinian state.

As the Palestinian terror groups reaffirm their commitment to an armed struggle to remove Israeli occupiers from their land the stage is being set for the end of times scenario that is found in Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has been the focus of world leaders for many years as efforts have been made to bring resolution to this conflict. The Palestinians had an opportunity for their own state when the UN put forth the Partition Plan in 1948 and the Palestinians rejected the plan. Now the leadership of the Palestinian people are calling for a two state solution with a Palestinian state and a Jewish state side by side. The struggle between these two peoples has seen many killed on both sides over the years with failure at the peace table in order to be able to come to an agreement.

This conflict did not start in recent history but instead it was 4000 years ago when it started in the womb of their mother. That battle between Jacob and Esau, the Jewish people and the Palestinian people, started as they struggled before birth in their mother Rebecca, Genesis 25:22. God told their mother that these two boys would become two nations, Genesis 25:23 which reveals that these two people would be the Jewish people and the Palestinian people of today. Malachi 1 states that the Palestinians will have their borders and God will call these borders the borders of wickedness. Ezekiel 35 states that the Palestinians will kill the Jews and take their land. Obadiah reveals the end of the Palestinian people when Jesus Christ comes back to earth.

Even though the Palestinians are waging an armed struggle against the Jewish people today, I remind you that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

'The Hal Lindsey Report'

I first began studying Bible prophecy in 1955, shortly after becoming a Christian. In 1956, I attended a lecture at Rice University in Houston. Colonel Robert B. Thieme spoke for more than two hours showing how the Suez Crisis of 1956 fit into the predicted scenario of end-time events. 

He said that Russia would back Egypt and the Muslims in their struggle against England, France, Israel, and much of the west. He also detailed how Russia would later become the driving force of a Muslim coalition that would eventually attack Israel and start the first phase of the war of Armageddon. 

Needless to say, I was hooked. As all of this played out on the world stage, it gave me an assurance that the Bible had to be the Word of God. For nothing man created could be that accurate about specific events that would happen hundreds and, sometimes, thousands of years later. 

In 1969, when I wrote The Late Great Planet Earth, the Soviet Union was approaching its zenith as the world's other superpower. But, according to Bible prophecy, Gog is to be a strong regional power, not a world conqueror. That meant that God had to stop the Soviet Union before it became a world-dominating power which wouldn't fit into prophecy. 

He did. 

The US Congress is funding a hate mechanism called the Palestinian Authority

PMW Director Itamar Marcus in Washington, D.C. there to tell the US Congress they are funding hate and terrorism among the Palestinian people. Here is what Itamar had to tell me about that visit to Washington, D.C.

Itamar Marcus: We met with members of Congress and we were showing them what was happening with American funding of the Palestinian Authority. The US has good intentions. They are hoping to build infrastructures of the PA because they are hoping that it will then be able to create a peaceful state, but what we were documenting, and we were showing them that they are also paying for TV programs where you have little children on TV saying that Christians and Jews are inferior and despised and it calls for the Muslim world to literally counter the Jewish and Christian world to defeat the Jewish and Christian world and I am talking about children's programs.

The minister of prisoners of the PA visits every week with some of the families of prisoners who have killed dozens of Israelis and he honors those prisoners, he calls them heroes and who is paying his salary, the PA, who is paying them money for that, the US. The US with all of its good intentions is actively funding a hate mechanism called the PA, a terror promoting and glorifying mechanism called the PA and Congress is now being made aware of this and the question is what to do about it so it can really have an impact and change the PA.

Jimmy: Itamar Marcus, head of Palestinian Media Watch, they monitor the Palestinian electronic and print media and because of that responsibility it gave capability to address some members of the US Congress with the concerns that Israel has as the US Congress continues to fund the PA.

As the US Congress continues to fund the PA, they are actually setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The radical Palestinian groups to day are  killing Jews and endeavoring to take their land. That scenario was foretold in Bible prophecy 2500 years ago. You could go to a number of passages in Scripture: Malachi 1, the little book of Obadiah, Jeremiah 49 and find out about this scenario, but speaking to the issue most distinctly is Ezekiel 35 which reveals that the Lord will judge the Palestinian people for killing Jews, verse 5 and in verse 10 for taking their land.

This is the present day scene in Israel and as the US Congress continues to fund hate and terrorism being perpetrated upon the Jewish people by the PA, the stage is being set for end time prophecy to be fulfilled.

Assault on a Miracle By Hal Lindsey

At the time of this writing, Israel and Hamas continue to exchange fire — Israel with precision strikes aimed at Hamas fighters, and Hamas aiming for maximum casualties, mostly against civilian population centers. According to The New York Post, Hamas launched three rockets at a nuclear power plant in Israel on Wednesday. The Iron Dome defense system shot down one, and the other two missed their target — averting a potential nuclear disaster with tremendous ecological consequences, and long-term casualties

Seven Palestinians were killed as they tried to form a “human shield” at a house they knew the Israelis were targeting. After Israeli Defense Forces dropped leaflets warning that the house would be hit, Hamas leaders encouraged civilians to come to the house, with some even standing on the roof. Hamas continues to follow the pattern of placing their leaders, missile launchers, and other weapons in residential areas. They base their strategy on Israel’s humanitarian concerns, while showing no such concerns of their own.

The Hamas arsenal includes rockets that are bigger and more powerful than in previous conflicts. They can now hit Jerusalem and Tel Aviv from the Gaza Strip. The new rockets were made in Syria, and arrived in Gaza by way of Iran. Since Egypt shut its border with Gaza, such smuggling operations should be more difficult in the future.

Hamas is still officially recognized as a terrorist organization by the United States, the European Union, Japan, Canada, Jordan, and Egypt. But for the EU, that may be changing. As you can imagine, many nations do not recognize them as a terror group, including the usual suspects — Russia, China, Turkey, and Iran.

The EU and UN continue to equate the actions of Israel with those of Hamas. In ridiculous attempts to be even-handed, they condemn both sides as equally culpable . . . with one exception. They never mention Hamas in their condemnations — only the “Palestinian Islamic Jihad.” That wording is important because the major players on world stage are now in the process of rehabilitating the image of Hamas.

An Israeli ground invasion of Gaza seems imminent. If that happens, how will the world respond? Support for Israel has diminished a great deal in the last few years, especially among US and EU leaders. Liberal churches, media, and academia continue their fight against Israel despite the nation’s record of human rights and respect for human dignity.

Why? Because Israel embarrasses them. Israel is what they say does not exist — a miracle.

Since its official establishment in 1948, modern Israel has existed under duress. Its strength has waxed, waned, then waxed again repeatedly. It began as a miracle and continues as an ongoing miracle. So, to those who don’t believe in miracles, Israel makes no sense. They repeatedly try to “help” in ways that can only hurt.

Round after round of peace talks fail, yet the nation persists. Wave after wave of violence strikes at it, yet Israel survives. More than that, Israel prospers. Even Israelis struggle to understand. How could this happen?

The answer is simple. God keeps His Word.

God made certain unconditional covenants with Abraham and his descendents through his son Isaac and grandson Jacob. These covenants promised that God would make them His nation forever, and that a very specific piece of real estate was given to them forever. Although God predicted that they would stray from Him so that He would have to discipline them, He nevertheless swore that He would bring them back and fulfill all His promises to them. He also promised that though He would discipline them Himself, He would judge everyone who persecuted them. He also promised that He would bless all who would bless them. And that even if they would be under His discipline, He would curse all who mistreated them.

What the unbelieving people of the world fail to understand is that God has consistently fulfilled these covenant-promises all through history. Especially in these last days before His Son returns to fulfill His promise to give the believing remnant of Israel a Kingdom over which they will co-rule with Him.

All of this is being set up before our eyes. The world needs to take heed that there is only one people to which God, the creator and possessor of this planet, has ever given a title deed to a specific piece of real estate. And that is the Israelites.

Prophecy indicates that the last Great War will be fought because of the world’s efforts to take away His peoples’ land and its Holy City.

Expect that over the next few years, the whole world will become intent upon taking away the nation of Israel’s Divinely promised land – especially its holy city, Jerusalem. Satan is trying everything to keep God’s promise from being fulfilled.

But God’s Word can never be broken, and the nations of this fallen world will be destroyed trying to make it fail. Thank the LORD that His promises guarantee our salvation through faith in Christ’s atoning sacrifice. Maranatha!

An Israeli official says he does not believe there will be a Palestinian State

There is a cabinet member of the Israeli government, Minister Bennett, who says there is no Israeli occupation of a Palestinian State because there never was a Palestinian State. These comments made by the Israeli government minister may actually be giving us indication that the Netanyahu government is moving away from a second state solution for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I ask our broadcast partner Winkie Medad who has a political background and a journalistic background if indeed he thought PM Netanyahu was moving away from a Palestinian State.

Winkie Medad: I think Mister Netanyahu ever since 2009 in  that famous Bar-llan University speech said that the resolution of the conflict would and should be based on two states, a Jewish  State and an Arab State West of the Jordan River. He did make some conditions that Israel would stand very firm on, demilitarized and no refugees inside of Israel just to give two examples, but ever since then to that extent of negotiations have not succeeded in drawing the PA representatives to the table. They do not recognize the Jewish national ethos. We do not have a right to have our own sovereign country. This is a ridiculous situation that people would believe that Israel and the Arabs at the present moment would be able to negotiate peace.

The Israeli peace process may or may not bring about a Palestinian State, but Bible prophecy does speak of a second Jewish state and the stage is set for that prophecy to be fulfilled.

Only time will tell if there will be a Palestinian State. The Palestinians are working around the clock endeavoring to bring about a state for their people in a land where there has never been a Palestinian State.

Bible prophecy does tell us that there will be a second state in what is the modern day Jewish State of Israel. Ezekiel 37:15-23 informs us that in the future there will be a second Jewish State. One state will be called Israel, the other, Judah.

This ongoing battle for the Palestinians to establish a Palestinian State, a second state in the region, is only in reality setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

As we celebrate the birthday of the United States, the question of America's place in Bible prophecy can be answered

Independence Day celebrations mark the birth of the United States of America, an experiment that has been very successful in many different ways. Many Christians say that the reason for America's prosperity is due to their support for world evangelism. The United States has been the launch pad for worldwide missions, spreading the gospel to a needy world.

The other reason given for America's success is that we have protected the Jewish state of Israel for the many years of its existence, keeping the Jewish people from total elimination by its enemies. These two reasons, at the least, have played a role in bringing the United States to where it is today; but where is the United States in Bible prophecy?

The question of America's place in Bible prophecy does have an answer.
"Where is America in Bible prophecy?" That is the most asked question in any "Prophecy Question and Answer" time. I am always asked this question when I open up to inquiring people.
Once in a "Prophecy Question and Answer" time someone told me that they knew, so I asked "Where?"

They said, "Jerusalem."
I asked them to explain, and they spelled out the word Jerusalem.
"J - e - r - U - S - A - l - e - m", to which everybody laughed.

As I thought about the answer though, I believe that it is correct, the only place in Bible prophecy that I see the possibility of the mention of the United States or an illusion to the United States is in Zechariah 14:2.

Zechariah revealed that at the time of the end all of the armies of the world would gather at Jerusalem, under the leadership of Satan, Anti-Christ, and the False Prophet - there to confront Jesus Christ on His return to the Mount of Olives from where He departed some 2,000 years ago. If America survives the 7 year Tribulation Period, their army would join the other armies of the world at Jerusalem.

America today is great because the backbone of this nation is made up of true, Bible believing, born-again Christians. When the Christians leave this world at the Rapture of the Church, which could happen at any moment, the most powerful nation in the world will most likely fall from it's power base.

America's spiritual decline, in the present, will result in a power decline in the future. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Three Israeli teenagers, those kidnapped some two weeks ago, have been found dead

Israeli Defense Force soldiers found the bodies of three Israeli teenagers who were kidnapped two weeks ago. They were found very near to where they were kidnapped in Hebron and the dead bodies were found under a pile of rocks.

PM Netanyahu said Hamas is responsible and Hamas will pay.  An intensive manhunt is underway for the two suspects of Hamas who did the kidnapping and the killing.

Radical Palestinians killing three young Israelis is a page from Bible prophecy. The conflict between the Palestinians and the Israelis is a 4000 year old conflict. In the womb of their mother Rebecca, Genesis 25, Jacob and Esau were struggling. God told Rebecca that these twin brothers would become nations in the future, each of them. Jacob and his twelve sons became the Jewish state of Israel today. Esau and his descendants, the Edomites can be traced through history and that study will reveal that the Edomites, Esau's descendants are the Palestinian people of today.

Ezekiel 35 is a prophecy that is focused on the Palestinians. Ezekiel 35:5 says that the Palestinians will kill the Jews and verse 10 says that then the Palestinians will take the land that God has given the Jewish people. As I have already mentioned, the Edomites, the descendants of Esau are the Palestinian people today and there are additional prophetic passages of scripture that deal with these Palestinian people in the last days. For example, Malachi 1 talks about the Palestinians, the Edomites, descendants of Esau coming back restoring themselves into a land that God has given the Jewish people and the Edomites say they will rebuild.

The Lord says they will rebuild, their borders will be the borders of wickedness and God will have indignation against them forever. The little book of Obadiah found in the prophetic passages of God's Word lays out an end times scenario for the Palestinian people, they will take charge of the city of Jerusalem, in particular the Temple Mount and at that time in history Jesus Christ will come back, He will then allow the Jewish people to defeat the Palestinians and the Palestinians will be as if they had never been.

The kidnapping and the murders of three Israeli teenagers is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
